The Revenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring proper
revenue recognition by evaluating contracts and reviewing and
approving Vendor Incentive programs. The Revenue Accountant is
heavily involved in all aspects of EIMS receivable management from
collecting to addressing and resolving vendor disputes. Summary of
essential job functions Responsible for reviewing and approving
EIMS Rules and Invoices by evaluating contracts and comparing them
with the parameters as set in EIMS by reviewing all supporting
documents i.e. proof of sales, proof of performance, proof of
purchase. Review and approve Marketing Development Fund (MDF)
amounts for accrual purposes in accordance with vendor contracts,
Proof of Evidence (POE), and Proof of Performance (POP). Will be
the liaison for the vendors, Product Managers, Accounting
department in addressing all issues related to vendor incentive
rebates. Collect EIMS Receivables by sending out statements,
performing collection calls and resolving discrepancies. Monitor
outstanding account receivable aging balances and communicate with
vendors for payments on a daily basis. Contact vendors via email
and telephone directly regarding payment status. Escalate issues in
a timely manner which includes suspending accounts. Process
outstanding balance write off in accordance with the Accounting
Procedures. Present weekly status update on collection activity.
Assist with auditors request related to EIMS invoices and
supporting document i.e. contracts, rebate rules, invoices,
payments, and POP/POS/POE documents. The position responsibilities

Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required
and/or assigned as necessary. Minimum requirements B.S. Degree in
Accounting Minimum of three years of experience in Accounting or
Finance Experience with any internal information managements
systems Abilities required Strong understanding of the Revenue
Accounting. Ability to treat all information confidentially. Must
be highly detail oriented and organized Must be able to prioritize
to meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal directions
from supervisor. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively
with all levels of employees, management and external agencies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Must
have strong computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
Microsoft Excel V-lookup and Pivot Table (strongly preferred).
