Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Accountant to support accounting
operations and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate
policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Create general ledger accounting entries for revenues, expenses,
assets, and liabilities
Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to support
business results and financial accuracy
Conduct timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
processes and prepare internal financial reports
Required Qualifications/Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a
related field
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial
reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
High level of integrity and ability to work in a fast-paced,
team-oriented environment
