This individual also supports our monthly operating reviews, strategic planning, and annual operating plan deliverables working directly with our division leadership. In addition, this individual will play a key role in the expansion of standardized database reporting and analysis in FCSTGov. -We are seeking a proactive, self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with key functional stakeholders. • Responsible for consolidating and analyzing program forecasts to develop the short-term forecast (STF).
• Responsible for completing risks and opportunities, variance analysis, element of cost and other Monthly Financial Review (MFR) deliverables, and various ad hoc analysis.
• Support the Monthly Business Review, Management Rate Review (MRR) Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Joint Strategic Plan (JSP), and any other financial reviews.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Business Development, Engineering, Accounting, Sector FP&A, and Program Financial Analysts on all aspects of forecasting to ensure accuracy of data, variance analysis and provide guidance as necessary.
• Prepare meaningful variance analysis of actual versus forecast financial performance and trend analysis on orders, sales, cost of sales, profit, cash (balance sheet), headcount, IR&D, B&P, SG&A and capital.
• Develop, communicate, and recommend action plans to ensure closure to forecasts.
• Load Actuals & FCST into FCSTGov.
• Maintain FCSTGov to HFM alignment.
• Standardize / Automate FCSTGov.
• Experience with contracts such as CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, T&M, FFP, etc
• Implement standard processes and standard work along with process improvements.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. -Qualifications: -
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related -analytical field -and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • 4+ years' experience with financial analysis, forecasting and reporting including variance explanations.
  • US Citizenship requiredPreferred Additional Skills:
  • Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability/desire to mentor less experienced team members.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of indirect rate development / modeling and rate variance analysis
  • Knowledge of cost/schedule development, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, corporate forecasting, and/or business acquisitions.
  • Understanding of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint (ERP) Hyperion/Smartview, Oracle, and FCSTGov.
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $86,500 - $160,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary -based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
