We are a dynamic multi-doctor cardiology practice in central Covina, CA and are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who is bilingual in Mandarin Chinese to join our team. *Here's what we're offering our Medical Assistant position:*

* *Location:* Covina, CA
* *Starting Rate:* $18-$19/hr. (Based on Experience)

* *Schedule:* Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

*Your responsibilities as a Medical Assistant will include:*

* Greet patients and prepare them for their appointment with the doctor. Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring they are comfortable and informed of the process.
* Measure and record patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate. Record patient's chief complaint or reason for the visit.
* Enter patient's demographic information, including name, address, phone number, and insurance information into the electronic medical record (EMR).
* Conduct initial screenings of patients to determine their overall health status, including medical history, medications, allergies, and other pertinent information.
* Conduct EKGs as required. Training will be provided to individuals without prior experience in conducting EKGs.
* Assist the physician during procedures, including preparing instruments and equipment, and providing necessary supplies. Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment, as required.

*The ideal Medical Assistant candidate will have:*

* Completed formal Medical Assistant education
* EMR experience
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume patient environment
