Job Description Summary * IMPORTANT NOTE : This position is open to applicants who are CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT ULV AND HAVE AN ACTIVE FEDERAL WORK STUDY award . * OCCE – The purpose of the Food Pantry Assistant is to assist with transporting food, putting away or packing food, distributing food, provide office work support and maintenance to name a few. Two openings are available for this position. This position has a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Minimum Qualifications Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Personal Computer experience with proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel) A positive and can-do attitude and willingness to work with volunteers Strong communication skills and the ability to be a team player Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Work Schedule Approx. 6-8 hours per week, M-F Actual work schedule TBD based on student schedule Job opening is off site, STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO/ FROM SHEPEHERD’S PANTRY IN IRWINDALE , CA ,
