Job DescriptionAt BAE Systems, we promote a strong, collaborative culture and provide our employees with the tools, skills, and training they need to succeed.We offer a flexible work environment to support work-life balance and optimize performance.As the Technical Expert - Networks, you will provide network support, including system-level design, architecture, enterprise security, security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls across all supported locations.Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• TS/SCI Clearance with required polygraph.
• Must work onsite 100% of the time.
• Minimum of 10 years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection (15 years without degree).
• Experience in datacenter network design, installation, and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPNs.
• Skills to install, configure, support, and troubleshoot: Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel SAN, and VPN (IPSEC).
• Physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices.
• Expertise in system-level design of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Proficiency in creating system diagrams and delivering high-level presentations to management.
