Summary:As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program
Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely launch
of products with exceptional quality and maximum availability for
customers. Your leadership and facilitation skills will be key to
driving the dynamic development and successful launch of our
products.In this role, you will be a dynamic, driven, and
detail-oriented leader who excels in program and project
management. You will communicate effectively at all levels, thrive
in ambiguous environments, and adeptly facilitate actions and
resolve conflicts.You will lead within our global Operations team
and collaborate closely with the core product development team and
other functional organizations. You will manage complex,
multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion, working
with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules,
identify risks, and maintain clear communication with
cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will
often span multiple offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring
you to coordinate efforts and keep all parties informed of progress
and deadlines.As the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to
the development and deployment teams, you will be responsible for
driving new product development operations and supporting products
through production ramp. You will lead a team of professionals to
ensure that products are designed and built to meet our high
standards.JOB OVERVIEW:
- The Operations Program Manager (OPM) will work with RFFE
engineering teams manufacturing suppliers to produce best in class
RF Front End Solutions.
- Materials Management: The OPM will manage inventory for the
module assemblies, including IC die to include Power Amplifiers,
Switches, Low Noise Amplifiers, passive components, filters and
substrates.
- Cycle Time Analysis: The candidate will integrate with the
Program Manager, Program Analysts, Design Team, Supply Chain
Management and Sales Operations teams to allow them to execute on
the project and meet internal and external customer
requirements.
- Process Efficiency: There will be a focus on process
efficiencies that can be applied across the RFFE module teams. This
position works closely with local prototype assembly lines,
offshore suppliers, Product and Test Engineering, Package and
Reliability teams and the IPS group to ensure on time delivery,
evaluation and launch of Front-End modules.Job Details:
- Engage with Module Program Managers, Design Leads, Supply
Chain, and Program Analysts to ensure that the project schedule is
accurate with regards to IC die fabrication lead times, BE1/BE2 SAT
assembly times, passive component (resistors, capacitors,
inductors) manufacturing lead times, filter manufacturing lead
times and up to date global shipping time estimates.
- Understands product attribute info used to project the supply
line: Die/IC attributes: DPW, wafer size, geometry;
Planning/sourcing attributes: lead times, yields, sourcing
paths.
- Ensure that the module project milestone definitions, dates and
material quantities are clearly identified and communicated.
- Identify supply delivery risks to the proposed project plan and
ensure these risks are documented.
- Provide regular updates at the Module Program Management core
team with regards to the status of supporting the project milestone
delivery requirements.
- Risks to meeting module sample deliveries to be
highlighted/communicated when observed to the module core team.
- Expectation is that the OPM will propose a recovery plan where
applicable.
- Escalation to RFFE BU management to be driven/tracked by OPM
where a recovery solution cannot be determined at his/her
level.
- Ensure that module BOMs are locked in time to allow successful
delivery of supply per the project milestones. Escalation to be
driven as required to ensure that BOM locks are completed on
time.
- Single point of contact who maintains the ultimate
responsibility/accountability for end-to-end supply line throughout
NPI and until full production handover.
- Ability to directly manage a team is preferred.Minimum
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of relevant operations
experience.ORAssociate's degree and 5+ years of relevant operations
experience.ORHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of
relevant operations experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:7+ years
Supply Chain, Program Management, or related work experience.
Experience with Qualcomm's Rapid Response System. Experience
interacting with manufacturing team to help schedule and manage
module builds.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Science,
Engineering, Business or related field OR Associate's degree with 5
years of relevant work experience OR High School diploma with 7
years of relevant experience.Pay range and Other Compensation &
Benefits:$136,800.00 - $205,200.00The above pay scale reflects the
broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the
location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly,
please note that salary is only one component of total compensation
