Job Description:
A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist -
Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile surgical procedures and assign CPT and ICD-10 codes to
surgery charges
Resolve denied charges and verify appropriate attestations
Conduct policy analysis for managed care issues and ensure timely
completion of reimbursement projects
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
4 years of progressively responsible experience in medical
insurance, medical billing, or medical reimbursement
Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Advanced
Records Technician (ART) preferred upon hire
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
