Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Behavioral Health - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/19/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 24 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Behavioral Health RN – Nights – PRN Employment Type: Contract - PRN Client: Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Location: 14445 Olive View Dr, Sylmar, CA 91342, United States Facility Details: - Facility size: 377 beds - EMR: Cerner - Scrub color: Any color (Navy Blue or Black preferred for a unified look) - PPE provided - On-site parking available - Pay cycle: Sunday – Saturday Start Date: August 19 Orientation Date: August 19 Contract Details: - PRN, day shifts - 24-hour requirement per week - No on-call requirements - No RTO accepted - Floating required; must be flexible Licensure & Certifications: - Active California RN license (must be current; if expired, must renew) - BLS, MAB, and LA County Fire Card required - COVID-19 vaccination and booster (if eligible) required Experience Requirements: - Behavioral health experience required - Recent acute care hospital experience strongly preferred - Travel experience preferred, but not required - Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment - Local travelers accepted Patient Ratios: Within California state law guidelines Case Types: - PRN behavioral health - Psychiatric care Credentialing & Compliance: - LA County has a 1-month credentialing process.
