We’re currently seeking an Ophthalmologist to join our amazing team. Details of the Ophthalmologist opening: Anticipated start date: ASAP Salary: $2832.90 - $3036.35 weekly Anticipated duration of assignment: 26 weeks Anticipated schedule: Days Enjoy peace of mind knowing you can elect Day One Medical Benefits Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Ophthalmologist: Review pertinent medical history documentation and perform one-time, non-treatment vision compensation and pension exams for Veterans. Capture responses during exam through a web-based examination form; All documentation is completed electronically. Visual Field Testing may be required and all equipment will be supplied. Exams are a comprehensive eye exam to evaluate for loss of vision, glaucoma, injury to eye, etc. No refractive services. Qualifications for the Ophthalmologist: Must be an actively licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have good interpersonal skills and willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations. Must possess basic computer skills and be able to complete online documentation. Compensation exam or VA experience is preferred, but not required. Current CPR and BLS. New grads welcome.
