Registered Nurse (RN) | Case Manager Location: Orange, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,773 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Utilization Review Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience License: Valid State License required in-hand when applying Certifications: All required certifications must be in-hand when applying Must-Have: Proficiency in EPIC and InterQual Experience in clinical review and medical necessity determination CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute in-hand when applying Description: The candidate must be highly proficient in EPIC and InterQual. Experience using both systems for clinical review and medical necessity determination is required. This position is in-person, with work scheduled Monday through Friday. There will be no work on weekends or holidays. Pre-approved time off is allowed, not to exceed five days. Previous charge experience is preferred. Familiarity with patient ratio experience is required. Charting experience with EPIC is required. Community hospital experience is required. Knowledge of admission criteria, concurrent review, continued stay reviews, and medical necessity is essential. Understanding and utilizing InterQual criteria is necessary. Knowledge of CPT coding and billing standards is beneficial. Experience with CMS regulations is a plus. The position may involve interdisciplinary support. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All references must be from supervisors. Travelers must confirm their time-off requests before submitting.
