For more information, please visit The Trainer (1031 Exchange) will schedule, manage and facilitate live training for 1031 Exchange employees and act as a subject matter expert on training related projects. Provide training on systems and processes for 1031 Exchange projects Act as a SME or interact with a SME to assure correct use of language and 1031 Exchange business process is applied to materials (review materials) Facilitate training that meets design specifications (e.g. webinar, classroom, one on one) Schedule and manage live training sessions Communicate training sessions Obtain training feedback to assure constant improvement loop Attend system UAT held by IT, as needed Participate in training material UAT, as needed Provide training support to end user (e.g. monitor education email account for issues) Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3 years of experience in 1031 Exchange transactions Working knowledge of 1031 Exchange transactions, such as transaction types, contracts, policies, commitments, entities, settlement statements, documents, rates, fees and terms Understanding of rules and regulations guiding 1031 Exchange transactions Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and processes Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Experience working independently, pro-actively completing project activities; communicating with subject matter experts; and making recommendations for improvements (training or otherwise) Communication - speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including e-mail. Listening skills - lets others speak and seeks to understand their viewpoints Organization and planning - plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities. Calm under pressure Persuasion - able to convince others to pursue a course of action Flexibility/Adaptability - adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
