Job Description:
A company is looking for a Follow Up Associate, Commercial.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and examine denied medical claims using knowledge of
medical terminology, diagnostic and procedure codes, and commercial
insurance
Read and interpret expected reimbursement information from EOBs and
understand legal parameters related to state and federal law
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve
unpaid claims and obtain necessary information promptly
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Work experience in a hospital setting with knowledge of health
insurance and medical claims billing
Ability to learn new processes and make informed, complex
decisions
Experience working both independently and as part of a team
