Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Examiner to manage insurance
claims processing.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and process insurance claims received electronically or in
written form
Evaluate claims and verify policyholder information to determine
claim eligibility
Investigate claims, negotiate settlements, and process payments as
needed
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D
Fellowship of Life Health Claims (FLHC) Certification preferred
Two or more years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting,
contracts, or information technology
Experience with insurance and/or medical terminology
Familiarity with claims processing procedures and documentation
